Suggestion for power off

This may just be me, but wondered if anyone else would find this useful in a software update ?

I find all too frequently that with the remote on the settee I have a habit of sitting on it or catching it with my foot or hand and it always seems to be the power button I find, this then immediately turns off what I am watching usually at a crucial point.

I would find a screen message something like "Are you sure you wish to power off"really useful

I'm not aware of any other provider catering for this kind of scenario, perhaps move the remote out of reach?  Neither Sky nor any other provider/TV manufacturer should need to cater for every accidental button press on a remote.

Common sense would dictate if you keep doing this to put the remote somewhere where you won't?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
