thanks for the update, however I have no confidence that the issue is being worked on or that it'll be resolved anytime soon, frankly it's been a farce from the beginning, doesn't appear many customers have had the problem fixed if at all, I wish you luck with your complaint, I hope you are able to get some redress.

@Juliet96 I'm not making anymore complaints and that other service is a ball ache in itself, haven't got time for all that. I'm not confident either that it's fixed as I've been told I'm the first one with the issue, yeah right, just more proof and evidence to leave the service without any charges and to reject the sky glass gen 2 as not fit for purpose. It's a shame but I refuse to keep paying for a service and having to goto social media or community forums to get help, answers or support because of the lack of support from the actual company that's taking my money.  I'll see how it goes and let the tech guy know on Friday when he phones, if he phones 🫤

Home screen tiles blank and apps missing done reboot etc ...it works but after a while same again...even reset broadband

Pessimists can only be pleasantly surprised -  well I wasn't surprised, same old problem with blank UI icons. 

time to dump this box I've given them more than ample time to fix or at least give some indication of what's the problem at the very very least. 
luckily on the monthly rolling contract so should be easy enough to stop paying.

What a surprise, didn't expect it to work, did it the moment I came off call to so called tech support. Just done it now as well.... happens when scrolling and ya get to the movie channels on the guide.

Also sometimes freezes then carries on but the progress bar appears, it's laggy as hell as well.

Looking for another provider.  Freely works better.

Yet another problem that I'm experiencing with this total farce of a product and service. Am I to expect a fix in another 8+ months ?.  That appears to be Sky's urgent response resolution time timescale judging by past experiences.

 

Kevin, your last update was a month ago..... so what's happening?  I would be very interested in how many technical staff you have in your "teams" working on a resolution.... is it one or possibly two?.

Sky puck menu

Having to reset puck multiple times daily due to menu been blank. Have a second box that works perfectly fine.

A common issue for many at the moment. No timeline for a fix from Sky.

It probably works fine (for now) because it’s connected to a different back-end server.

 

I have three glass TVs. The one in our front bedroom has never had this problem. The one in our back bedroom has experienced it a couple of times but not in over a month. Our main TV in the living room has had it the most but it’s improved. The last time I had to turn it off was on 18 June 2026. Three TVs are running identical firmware and UI versions connected via Ethernet to a shared router.

Got Sky Glass a couple of months ago 3 pucks.

 

Notice they are all on new build version last week or so.

That is not the latest firmware.
