Streaming issues with watching tv & gaming

We are experiencing issues with Sky stream & when someone is gaming. 
The person gaming gets frustrated as the games buffer, slow, etc & we were told when we got Sky stream that the speed rate, if I've written that correctly would be more than enough to cope with both someone gaming & watching telly at the same time. It's not. Had the problem since we got Sky stream more than a year ago. Spoken to 2 engineers, so far no fix. It's annoying.

The internet just isn't fast enough.

What speed is your puck receiving? What speed is your broadband supposed to be? 
Sky Stream is quite a bandwidth hungry service. It requires a constant connection to Sky's servers, therefore causing the issues you are having for gaming. 
All you can do is make sure your broadband is as fast as it can possibly be, minimise any potential WiFi interference and connect via Ethernet to give each device the best chance of getting a fast enough connection.
