Sky Stream Sky Sports News

Only just got Sky Stream and tried to add Back Pages Tonight on Sky Sports News to my playlist so i can watch it in the morning. 

However its not  'recorded'/saved in my playlist but the Xmas special has?

Why hasnt it saved last nights episode? 

I presumed once i'd added it to my playlist it would just save it every night?

The playlist can be a bit random. Some news content won't playlist or cloud record unfortunately. Did you add it to your playlist from the EPG? Technically it should cloud record as it's from a Sky channel but there are instances where it won't.

yeah i added it from the EPG 

its frustrating when its inconsistent

i thought sky stream would be a bit more robust by now

I found it to be frustrating and inconsistent too so no longer have Stream. I can't check but I assume you've tried searching for it on demand? If it's not available there then you're probably out of luck I'm afraid. There doesn't seem to be a definitive way of determining whether something you add to a playlist will definitely cloud record or be available on demand later.

whats amusing is its literally available on the sky sports news youtube channel within about an hour 😄

but try and get it on demand on a sky stream - no chance ha
