Stream - slow and laggy
I do love my Sky Stream now... but I do find it often gets very slow and laggy when navigating the menu's and TV guide.
I've got wired broadband at 900mb plugged in.
is it like this for everyone?

Re: Stream - slow and laggy
UI speed can vary. It depends on server and local network congestion. SkyOS is almost entirely server-based, very little occurs on the actual puck itself, so everyone's experience is different depending on how their own puck is connected to their individual broadband network and the Sky server their puck is assigned to.

Ah ok. Thanks for your reply.
I do notice when I switch off at the plug, then on again, it goes back to normal... but after a day or so, goes back to laggy and slow again.

Doing a full reboot, either by turning it off at the plug or by doing a restart from the settings menu can help because it flushes the cache and re-establishes the server connection. Doing this regularly, every few days for example, can help to keep the UI a bit more fluid and less laggy.
