Stream & Sports discounts

I've typically used Now for Broadband and Sky Sports. Due to a mess up from Now I ended up taking a 2 year Sky Broadband deal last November. My current 6 month deal with Now for Sports at £19.99 soon expires so I'm considering ringing Sky to see the best price I could get for Stream - (2 pucks alas), UHD and Sports. I have used the offer page to go through my offer and it is currently offering Sports for £20 per month on the 2 year contract and as said I would want UHD and Whole home - which seems heavy given Now is an App available on multiple TVs (yes I appreciate it's a different technology with the Pucks)

Therefore, my questions are

1.  Ring to see if a telephone call can a better deal than the machine based offer?

2. Will that be subject to the upcoming price increase?

3. For convenience can they merge the existing Broadband into one monthly payment, or would it have to be treated as two separate monthly debits?

4. Stay with Now and try to renew the £19.99 Sports offer  with the usual threaten to leave

As a separate question I understand Discovery plus is part of the package. I currently pay Google play £3.99 per month for the basic package. I read that you simply sign in to Discovery plus to connect to my existing account, but does it automatically stop my monthly payment or should I stop it manually?

It's up to you if you want to call and see if you can get a better deal than going online.

No further advice here can  really help on which may work better for you.

Yes any deal taken out now will show the increase taking place in April.

Sky TV, Sky Broadband and Sky Mobile are all now only offered as separate products with separate billing.

As far as I am aware, you will need to cancel your Discovery +  for your Google Play payment to end and then you can activate the free offer from Sky using the same email address and password.

Also, with Sky Stream/Glass, you will get Netflix free Standard with ads.

If you are paying for Netflix direct to Netflix, once activated with the Sky free deal, Netflix will stop the payment to them and refund anything owing to you.

Plus next month you will be able to get Disney+ , HBO Max and Hayu as a free offering to Sky Tv customers.
