There have been many, many posts about problems with the remotes on Glass/Stream since they launched. Various issues from exploding batteries to lack of Bluetooth control to complete failure for no logical reason. 

Follow the troubleshooting here and if it doesn't help you can order a replacement under warranty:

You could also try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth.  Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it works more often than you would think and has got my remote working again on 2 occasions.

If none of the above help then I would request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote 

If you are lucky enough to have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement to arrive.
