I still don't have the ability to skip ads on Sky on-demand content, even after doing a manaul update. Has anyone else had this issue?

I do indeed. The only nuisance I can think of is that I'm based in Ireland so potentially the update has only been introduced in the UK?

We are fellow subscribers so don't know. But will try and find out, unless another ROI subscriber can confirm they have it.
However just for FYI Sky updates Glass and Pucks in batches, so manual updates don't work in the same way as they do on Sky Q.

Thanks @mikealanr.
The post is getting little traction so it seems like most customers have received the update, although I have yet to hear from an Irish customer. Do you know if there is a Sky employee I can raise this with or tag on this forum? I contacted Sky over Christmas but the service agent wasn't even aware of the update.

Hi @KevNewMedia,
Can you please confirm that the ad-skipping update is available to Irish customers? I have the ad-skipping pack and no one else on this forum seems to be having the same issue. Has it only been intorduced in the UK?
Thanks,
Mary

I've checked with the team this morning, and they've said it is UK only at this stage, however it will be rolling out to the ROI in the future.

So there is no point in an ROI customer subscribing if the feature isn't available to them?
Or does this feature work with third party apps for them?

I guess the feature will work as it used to work for us in the UK. I.e. you can fast forward the ads, but won't have a button to skip them.

Hi @KevNewMedia
Many thanks for getting back to me. Can you please confirm if this will be the norm going forward for all updates? Is there any sort of time frame on how long the ad-skip update will take?
Thanks,
Mary

It won't always be like this @mary323232 Feature launches are usually for everyone, however, sometimes we need to do a staged launch.
