Remote supplied is not consistent when turning tv on . Press on/off first turns on tv but then tells you HDMI is not connected. Press button again for short time sometimes connects sometimes asked PLEASE WAIT nothing happens. Turn off and try again , mostly works. Tonight it didn't.Eventually tried reset worked but not satisfactory

Hi @Fred481
The easiest way is to press the home button on the remote and the puck will wake and turn the TV on. You may need to turn on CEC / HDMI controls on your TV. Also is the please wait message from your TV or Puck - you will need to clarify in order for the community to be able to assist. It would also be worth letting us know the make and model of the TV.
Remember we are not sky and have no idea of your set up unless you tell us!
