Sound and picture delay in an alternating fashion.
We have an intermittent issue with sound and picture issues. Some days it's fine all day and the next there will be a sound delay. The biggest issues are when the picture freezes for a few seconds then the sound plays but not at the same time so it's like the sound and picture take time for the other to play so all programmes are taking ages and very frustrating. Changing the channels helps for a while but then it stays over again. I've restarted the box several times and the issues come back again.
I've checked the broadband checker etc and they say everything is fine. It always says everything is fine. It's really not fine. In fact it's infuriating. I just want to talk with someone to get it fixed but this way is very drawn out and frustrating especially when you have little energy.
please please help Sky.

Re: Sound and picture delay in an alternating fashion.
Firstly, for restarting.
Rather than removing the power for the puck, perform a restart from the Sky Stream settings menu
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete
Assume also, you have tested your wifi connection.
You can do this by testing via the Sky Strean Netflix app.
You can do that via a network speed test on each of your Pucks.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say a few minutes between tests.
Recommended minimum broadband speed of 25Mbps. Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or to watch in UHD.
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Protect smart tech kit tester.

Re: Sound and picture delay in an alternating fashion.
Thank you but say this didn't help at all. It took under 10 minutes to go out of sink again.
broadband is working well as is the telephone.
so say I still have the same problem.
