Sky syream is not fit for purpose
Ive recenlt moved from Sky after 20 + years with Virgin and I am so sorry I did.
I understood the "recording" facility was different and there wasn't a plus one service as they relied on the apps On Demand however I did not expect the recording service to be so poor.
Watching programmes on playlist is a nightmare. You get 3/4 of the way through a program and first the sound goes off, then the picture goes off, no particular channel, no particular programme, all programes without bias. Programmes that should be on the old style plus one system also finished this way before the programmes actually finished!
The puck additional box keeps losing internet connection while watching programmes. This effect all programmes not just Sky but also Netflix and Prime Video. An engineer has been out and fitted an extender which according to his tablet, will comfortably reach everywhere without issue but the issue still persists.
I cannot chat online to anyone about it as they don't currently have any advisors who can talk about sky stream but I can phone and wait 50 minutes on the phone to talk to someone who can't understand me or my issues.
I am so fed up with all this I've appreached Virgin and asked them to have me back.
