Bought my sky streaming app or box on the 4th of January 2026, picked up from the local post office delivery centre and completed the setup right away but still having an issue with the pictures and the sound that keep on switching on and off all the time on all channels and also freezes all the time and doesn't play at the right time when all you can hear is people talking but the picture is frozen. Please give me advice on how to fix it. I've tried everything that it says to try and resolve this issue.

Sky Stream is a box that plugs into your TV. So not sure what your mean by app? Generally issues like this point to poor connectivity either between the box and router or poor broadband speeds.
Sky say you need 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD. You can test this the netflix app (profile pic > get help? > Connectivity check).
You may get a more stable experience using ethernet cable or homeplugs and turning WiFi off in the puck settings.
