Sky stream

Constant issues with these streaming devices. Surely sky are in breach of contract with the multiple issues that most users appear to be having (myself included). The UHD live streaming is by far a complete waste of time. Has anyone successfully renegotiated their contract on this basis?

Multiple posts over several years indicate that Sky will (eventually) permit early exit without penalty where a subscriber is persistent in logging issues with Stream.

What is your broadband speed to your hub, what speed is your puck getting? You can check this by opening netfix, going to help. Opening that and running check my network, sky reconmend 25mps for you to watch in hd, and 35mps for you to watch in uhd also the more devices that you have connected to the internet the weaker the signal is to each device they could all be on their min broadband wifi speeds,, the speed you are paying for is the speed to the hub, that speed is to each device

Hi @Dazzab721

Don't forget the only unhappy users generally post on a public forum. Given that sky haven't openly published the number of pucks in the wild we can't gain an idea of how many customers have issues. So we can't say if most users have issues with pucks.

However if you speak to sky and your unable to resolve the issues you may be allowed to leave as per @TimmyBGood response.

I have 4 pucks and 2 Glass units working flawlessly so it certainly is possible.
