Sky stream

I don't normally complain but have had enough of my current sky TV  service. Had sky stream for about six months. Changed from sky q. Wish I hadn't. Sky stream in my opinion is the biggest load of rubbish sky have ever produced. Constant technical faults with channels needing Puck reset. Slow at updating channels, nothing to do with my WiFi as I have 10 times the speed sky could offer in my area. Rubbish selection of channels compared to sky q  for price.. A positive though, small box. Sales man at sky was not interested in doing a deal on sky q only pushing sky stream which I fell for. Wish I knew I could contact the sky Q team direct for a deal and not the salesman peddling sky stream. My sky stream order was mucked up with only one Puck being sent, even though I ordered multi room. Hopefully freely bring a box out soon so I can ditch sky stream at the end of my contract or it will have to be goodbye sky, hello virgin TV unless sky get their act together.

Why not just switch back to Sky Q?

Yes: that's now Comcast policy.  The era of geosynchronous broadcasting to the UK and RoI is approaching its end, and will cease before the current satellites expend the last of their positioning propellant around the turn of the decade.

Locked in contract.

Re: Sky stream

Doesn't matter. If Stream is giving issues that can't be resolved, they will let you out of your contract.  Take a look at Now for Sky's channels, a few people here have switched without issue.

Re: Sky stream

I literally just had a phone call off one of their salesmen trying to convince me to change from sky q to stream , within 5 minutes he hung up on me as the pros don't outway the cons at the moment, which I reeled of to him. Really pushy guy that's reading from a script!
