Re: Sky stream standby mode

That message  is coming from your smart TV.
It shows the device, could be a Sky Stream puck, if it's connected on the hdmi port of that message, the device has gone into standby mode or is powered off.

If you have left the Sky Stream Puck on any of the home menus, it will after a showing of the programme screensavers for a short time go into standby.

If you have paused a live linear channel it will also go into standby mode after 10 minutes.

When seeing that message and it is on your Sky Stream Puck hdmi port, just hit the Home key on the Puck remote.

Re: Pause tv- within 10 minutes the sky pluck turns itself off

It's a TOTAL JOKE!!!

I only have a Puck and it seems way less than 10 minutes!!!

You can pause it for a short conversation on a phone, go to the toilet, make a drink whatever and u come back and then you need to go through all the ball ache of turning it back on, finding what you were watched etc etc (been in all the settings and NOTHING changes it).......and don't get me started on the SUBTITLES hahaha!!! ...a lot of us probably choose to see the subtitles options cos the audio dialogue is poor or quiet, so when you miss something you can glance down and catch it....but not with SKY, there is no glancing down because the font is like 80s TELETEXT so much that you can't see **bleep** is behind it......SKY is supposed to be a Media company??? Seems to me it's living in the dark ages!!

Overpriced Garbage IMHO..I will not be staying with them!!!!
