Sky stream puck switches off
My sky stream puck keeps switching off when I press the back button whilst watching a programme on my playlist. It also will fail to connect on a daily basis and I have to do a reboot (unplug from mains) daily. Compared to Sky Q this system is just garbage.

Re: Sky stream puck switches off
@Bearpaul Well I understand your frustration when things are working properly, but remember there are thousands with Stream that works well. For Stream to work properly it does rely on more things than SkyQ which can be frustrating.
Firstly a high internet speed is needed, have you tested yours? Secondly if not connected via a Ethernet cable does your puck have an uninterrupted line of sight to your router? Is your router near a window or glass? Are there any objects on or close to both your puck and router? All these things can cause the problems you mention. I hope that helps.

Re: Sky stream puck switches off
@Stephen+Mourton I could understand what you're saying if I was having problems with playback and/or connectivity. This puck is in my kitchen and I've just done a speed test which came back as 210mbps down and 143mbps up.

Try, if you have not already changing your puck/s to thefollowing recommended settings set in the Puck Settings>
Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving to OFF.
Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.
After making the above change or performing an off/on Google if it was already set, please perform a settings restart of your Sky Stream box, as this will ensure the option is set correctly.
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

Re: Sky stream puck switches off
Not sure about your back button switching off the Puck issue. Not sure I recall seeing that issue before
Is this only when using the Back button, from using your Playlist, or other uses of Back button.
Might be worth trying a remote reset;
On your Sky remote:
- Press and hold 7 and 9 together for 3 seconds.
- Press and hold 1 and 3 together for 3 seconds.
- Wait until you see the 'Your remote is now connected' message and select Continue
