Sky stream puck not setting up

I have just become a sky stream customer, trying to set up the sky pick is proving very difficult. When I turn it on it says it is updating to new software and will only take 20 minutes. After about 10 minutes it reverts back to the screen that asks you to press 'update.' I tried for about 3 hours to update it to start setting it up but it doesn't get past the update screen. I have tried restarting the puck, turning it off and on, restarting my tv but nothing makes it work.

hi @Tufty88 

 

if possible complete the setup process with an Ethernet cable plugged from the device to your router 

 

once complete you can remove and revert back to wifi

Try doing the update with an ether ethernet cable connected. If that doesn't work follow all the steps outlined in this help article: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/setting-up-sky-glass-updating-software

Try updating using an Ethernet cable.
