Sky stream no subtitles

I selected reset rather than factory reset. That worked and I didn't lose play lists as it just rebooted the box. I suggest trying that first.

I am 95 so it's very difficult to get sub titles on recordings. And no young children to help me 

really love Last Tango in Halifax but with hearing aids I can't hear voices properly  went through your help just now but only get so far to advice  I have only recently changed from my old system to Q & wish now I hadn't  very complicated  now . Memory difficulties occur at this age( not dementia I'm told ) which don't help . & after being  really independent  woman  ( worked Heathrow until 82 CAA) feel useless and after SHINGLES, BOWL CANCER & couple of falls  TV only recreation . My tv is old so would a new one come with subtitles on recordings  ??

I moved my 90 year old mother to sky stream and she needs subtitles on all programmes. Restarting the puck works but two weeks later they have failed. I am reluctant to restart again as this means signing into all her apps. This is obviously a known software/hardware fault so why haven't sky fixed the issue by now?
