New to sky

I am not very tech savvy so apologies if this sounds stupid. I am in the process of moving to sky. Have my sky stream was trying to set it up with current broadband as there are issues with my previous provider box.

 

Have plugged in and connected to TV via hdmi cable but nothing is coming up on the TV.

 

Do I need to plug Internet cable into sky stream or am I missing something.

It helps if you check the puck is powered on.

Hi @Filmbuff1 welcome to the forum and Sky stream.  Have a look at the following link which explains how to setup the puck including how to connect it up to your network.

There are also some more comprehensive videos on Youtube (see the link at the bottom of this forum page).
