Sky stream new customer

I am a new customer to sky stream since last week. I am able to watch my apps eg Netflix/prime/bbc  without an issue however as soon as I try to watch anything that is a sky  channel after about 15 minutes it freezes and tells me there is a technical fault. It never corrects itself the only way I can get the tv to work is my turning the main power on and off

Hi @dd1099

This usually points to poor WiFi between the puck and your router or poor broadband speed. Run a speed check in netflix by: Open netflixing and go to the left hand menu > scroll down to get help? > Connection check.

Sky say you need 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD.

It may be a case that you need to reposition your puck, obtain a booster / extender or use an ethernet or homeplugs connection to provide a more stable connection. What speed ar you getting on your puck and what's yor broadband speed?

Re: Sky stream new customer

Speed in Netflix shows 111.05mbps. Sky package is 300 fibre. Thanks for your help.

Are you connected  by wifi ?  I would  run that Netflix  test a couple  of times to make sure, at that speed  you should  not have any problems, do you  have  other devices  connected  aswell
