How did I miss the Paramount + upgrade option

Just signed up to the premium version of paramount+ on my Sky stream hadn't seen it promoted anywhere and it's £4.99 cheaper than with paramount direct.  Looks good works well.

@Astongooner  If you are a VIP member there are offers on Paramount + basic for a 6 or 12 month free subscription for Diamond members but not you have already subscribed I don't think this offer will still be valid.  

The reason Paramount + Premium is cheaper through Sky is that a Basic subscription comes free with a Sky Cinema subscription (value £4.99) .so you are only  paying the additional cost of the upgrade to premium.

Hi @Fothergill1 nice to converse.  I did have the sub included with sky cinema I am just amazed that either i didn't see the publicity for the option to upgrade or that maybe Sky haven't mentioned it before.  I regularly browse the forum and only found out about it via a post in the what's on section.   Do you know if it has been publicised by Sky?

Having the Paramount+ basic with ads included with Sky Cinema, this is good to know this ahead of Star Trek Strange New Worlds season 3 starting in July. 4K, Dolby Vision & Atmos ahoy! 

Also means I can go back to Paramount+ for my regular fixes of the vintage 1966-2005 Trek series without all those obnoxious ads. I switched to watching those series on Netflix since the P+ with ads started; I still don't like Netflix with ads but it is way less obnoxious than P+'s equivelent tier.

Just needs integrating with the My Sky phone app now for earlier discovery and subscribing. Hats off to Sky & Paramount for making the 'pay the difference' option happen though.
