Thats because nothing is a traditional "recording", so there is nothing to be directly viewed via Sky Go. The majority of content is played back via video on-demand either directly via Sky's server or via third party apps like iplayer, ITV X, Paramount + etc.

Its not an upgrade. The streaming platform is fundamentally different to the satellite platform but ultimately is the future, as broadcast services are all going streaming, and the satellite services will likely start to decrease towards the end of the decade.
