Using Sky Stream remote to control volume on LG TV?
Hi all,
I have a new LG TV. My Sky remote will switch it on and off with no problem, but please can anyone tell me how to get it to control the volume, too?
Googling just throws up options from the settings menu which I don't have - there's nothing to make changes to the remote control.
Any help much appreciated! Thank you.

Re: Using Sky Stream remote to control volume on LG TV?
Hi @CillaVee If you go to settings > connected devices > Sky Remote you will find an option to control your TV. If you follow the procedures here you should be able to find a setting to control your volume.
Good luck

Re: Using Sky Stream remote to control volume on LG TV?
Try the following;
- Press 1 and 3 together on your Sky remote.
- Follow the on-screen instructions until the TV volume is controlled by your Sky remote.
- Press and hold the Standby button on your Sky remote. This shouldn't turn your TV off.
- Move to the next code and test the volume buttons. If it:
- Controls the volume - press Select .
- Doesn't control the volume - select No, try another until you find the right setting.
- Press and hold the Standby button again. The TV should turn off this time.
- Press the Home button to turn the TV back on.
