Please can sky sort out sky stream, for years had a box with no issues with virgin, moved to sky stream and constant issues since day one.
Every day I am having to unplug the puck and TV.
TV just goes black screen half way through watching programmes
Constantley get wait your program is loading
Hpcp unauthorised on a daily basis
have rebooted the puck etc.. but still happens
Starting to really regret ever moving to Sky Stream, if this is the way forward then something seriously needs to happen to have these pucks working, without issues.
please please sort these issues out.

None of those are systematic issues with Sky pucks .... they are systematic issues with regard the connection between the Sky Puck and Sky servers ... there are many discussions covering what needs to be investigated with regard those issues🤔
If you believe your puck is defective you will have to report your issues to Sky and request a replacement😉

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Shelley661 I can think kf 3 issues that can be involved as I can assure you they are not problems I or many of the other hundred of thousand Stream customers would tolerate .
1) the Cables connecting your puck to your TV are struggling to carry the well over12 Gb/s Sky Stream outputs when set to UHD. Longer cables over 5m are always going to be pronblemstic but you need cables certified to the premium high speed standard which is good for 18Gb/s. Symptoms of cable issue is black screens and but you can get HDCP messages due to miscommunication
2) Sky Tream running at UHD output resolution requires every component in the HDMI communication chain to support HDCP2.2 while almost every UHD TV does the same cant besaid of all switches etc and particularly some HDMI distribution systems.
3) Poor data bandwith run the Network Test in the Netflix app's Get Help, menu as that shows bandwidth at the puck which can be very different from at the router.
Hopefully thst gives you some help,of wherecto look

The network is showing as excellent connection
the cables are what sky provided with the puck so if they are not suitable maybe they should provide the correct or better cables. As like a lot of people in this forum appear to have the same issue

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Shelley661 i apologise most sincerely for trying to helpyou. Forums are always full of more people with issues than not. However DHCP issues are rare which indicates something in your set up is causing that issue.
