Sky stream & slow broadband

Looking for some advice. Been with Sky for broadband for over 10 years, last few years speed has dropped & currently hitting 20mb (guaranteed at 16) raised previously & advised its likely a line problem for openreach (not resolved) I'm interested in Sky stream however it shows a requirement of 30 mb. Im unable to install a dish for Sky Q due to ongoing electrical works with the national grid. Anyone know of a solution?

There's no good solution to bandwidth demand on a poor connection: Stream is going to try to take as much as it needs, and if there isn't sufficient then you're going to have an unhappy experience.  In theory you might get away with HD consumption as long as there's no other significant use at the same address, by Sky might well simply refuse to offer the product.

Thank you for replying. Probably best to hold off & wait for my contract to expire to look at another provider, I believe Virgin have started to offer services in my area.

There's also satellite internet options like Star Link from SpaceX... if you can stretch to that and are comfortable supporting the boss of SpaceX.
