No. It does not. It's glitchy and extremely irritating. Very imprecise.

If you watch a lot of content from these apps then I can heartily recommend paying for ITVX Premium and Channel 4+ which gives you a completely ad-free experience. I don't watch anything on my5 largely due to the fact that they don't have a premium ad-free option.

Works fine for me.

Use ITVx and My5 regularly, probably most days, from play listed content.

Have no issues with it at all, just a  press on the remote for a few seconds and let go to skip through the ads quickly.

Do not often watch much on C4, maybe a couple of times a week, but have found the C4 ad skipping works fine also and same few seconds press and let go to skip through the ads.

You can also, if you like,  do a click, click, click, that does zoom the speed the skipping passes through.

I prefer not using the method so much, reducing any finger or thumb strain and maybe the select button over time...

And reduce the risk of missing the start of the next part of the show you're watching.... a regular occurence in our household. So frustrating.

And is the £5 montly charge per box...so if I had two boxes would it be £10 per month?

No, the monthly £5 ad skipping pack covers all your Sky Glass TVs or Sky Stream pucks.

Re: Sky stream ad skipping

You'll probably get a couple months free offer for ad skipping when you sign up. Rule of thumb is give 28 days notice to cancel before the offer expires, then check on My Sky and see if you've been given another offer after cancellation has gone through, rinse repeat. I've had Stream scince April, and I've yet to pay for ad skipping.

I find it's not prefect and needs improvement. The fact you can FF ads on the C5 app or whatever it's called these days (when using Stream) is pretty good, you can't do that via Apple TV or a TV's in built app.

Re: Sky stream ad skipping

Just like to say I've had sky stream now for 2 days and I must say the ad skipping has worked perfectly....especially on ITVX and MY5
