@JF14 they're live streamed. Unfortunately Sky+ boxes can't receive live streams, so to watch on your tv, you'd need to upgrade to Sky Q or Sky Stream.

You can watch using the Sky Sports+ app on a mobile device.

Totally agree. I had all of this with Sky Q last year and now with Sky Stream since I moved house and same issue. Raised many comments and had a lot of replies all of which agree with me, you can't watch and record as previously able. Super League fans have lost out. 
Sky have designated a channel exclusively for Tennis, how about the same for rugby !!!

I pay £100pm for my sky (have phone too) and feel like i have been ripped off - do you think i could get a sky q box replacement - I just want to be able to see saints matches

Assuming you have SkySports. Go to Home. Go to Apps. Go to Sky Sports. Go to Rugby League showing on SkySports+.

This will show you all the upcoming games to view LIVE on SkySports+. Non-recordable.

@JF14 I'm sure Sky would be delighted to upgrade you. Give them a call. If they tell you that you can only have Sky Stream, they're wrong, so don't be put off.

It will appear you can only record Rugby League if they appear on the Sky Sports Action Channel.

If they are able to be watched live on Sky Sports + on the red button you can only record if they make them available in the catch up section in Sky Go. I know it is possible as I downloaded two matches via Sky Go to my Sky Q box and it all worked seamlessly.

Maybe the person who pushes the buttons to make it work has been sacked or is on holiday. Who knows.

Sky Sports + is a bit of a hooch pooch needs some work Sky.

It is all Sky's aim to get us off Satellite Dishes and on to streaming.

The likes of Discovery Plus and Amazon prime produce a far better experience.

When Xumo was announced it was said that those channels would make their way to the EPG.

That's presumably been dropped or behind schedule but I wonder if that's a strategy they'll use on Sky Sports+ too as well later on, which would eleviate this.

That's correct. Only the games (usually 3 per weekend) shown live on the linear channels  can be recorded live or downloaded in full later. The extra games shown on the Sky Sports App can only be watched live. 

Presumably, this is as a result of the contract agreed with the RFL.

Yes, raised it with Sky as I did last year. They do not appear to understand the point made then or now. Another break down of signal in last nights game just after a try scored, the screen goes blank, had to exit, reopen Sky Sports + only to see that the conversion had been missed......why bother watching ?

Yes, raised it. Until it is formally accepted and Sky recognise there is an issue, I do not expect the issue that many of us face will ever be resolved. To coin the expression which I can't abide "It is what it is"..... that unfortunately is the reality for Super League fans.

I cannot find any listings for ANY Superleague matches on SkyGo this weekend. Does that mean that the quote of " ALL matches live on SKYSports" now applies only to streaming on SkySports+? Are Sky Q and Sky Go viewers now frozen out?

Sky Q viewers aren't frozen out as Sky Sports + is available via Sky Q, and the additonal live streams are on the Sky Sports App not the Sky Go app.

That is great timing for a sport who needs as much exposure as it can get - the same weekend as the final weekend of the 6 Nations RU which is covered by BBC & ITV.
