I read an article today that states the revenue Sky Sports have received from Super league is down and is falling. It's only going to get worse if the ridiculous changes Sky sports have made to the way super league is broadcast on Sky Sports + is not reverted back.
Many Sky subscribers have already commented and stated they will not be renewing Sky sports subscriptions if the changes are not rescinded. It's a great shame Sky Sports have let down the Super League, the clubs, the players and ultimately the fans.

Reverted back to what so you mean a recordable channel there is a difference between Sky Sports+ and Sky Sports + HD one is an app the other is a channel 412

Simply put,  broadcast Super League games as per last year and previous years. Let's not play semantics over Sky Sports +, Hd or whatever. Trying to watch streamed games does not work..., everyone who has commented has made it clear what Super league viewers want....

To Superuser - that is because there are only two matches being played this week! They have only shown two of six matches on a recordable channel for the psat few weeks. What it augurs for next season is yet to unfold. All six matches on the live stream?

And now these 2 matches in the playoffs are not available to watch on the superleague+ app in the UK so it makes that not worthwhile either.

Fair comment @David51157 correct me if I'm wrong but isn't SuperLeague+ an app where the games are streamed like Sky Sports+ app

Nothing else to say really, we can no longer watch and record Super League games on Sky with the same choices or options as previous years. The change by Sky to stream games fails on so many counts...we all know it.

Wasn't the Super League coverage limited to 2 or 3 live matches per week in previous seasons, with the rest not shown at all? This is the first season all matches have been shown live. As Sky Sports+ didn't launch until August, every match was temporarily shown on normal recordable channels, but it was never intended to stay that way.

@best+of+the+best superleague+ is a stream but is also available on demand after the live stream. Neither the live stream or on demand playback buffer like Sky Sports+ does. 

However, the playoffs are only live on Sky Sports so they've got themselves into a stupid deal with Sky there. Typical amateur hour.

Superleague+ stream four live games per round with the other two games on a 48 hr delay

Sky doesn't own Betfred SuperLeague 

Betfred has the sponsorship and Sky is the TV broadcast partner which they have been since 1996

I  don't have Sky Stream but I  do have Sky Q  But due to my circumstances most of my Sky TV  subscription is accessed via Sky Go  tonight I'm watching the ManU game via TNT Sports on  FireTv stick connected to the tv and the Liverpool game via Sky Go on Firetablet both matches started at the same time.

I  could even catch up on the Arsenal match via  Sky Sports app on my Samsung ZFold as that started a bit earlier 

I'm streaming three different games so it hasn't failed you just don't like change simple.

Sky Sports App is not available for my Firetablet that's why I'm using Sky Go to watch Liverpool match don't have Sky Stream or access to Sky Q as it's in storage I do have a Sky TV subscription

Watching Arsenal v Bolton on my Samsung Z Fold 3 obviously via the SkySports+app

 

No buffering got decent internet as like I mentioned watching Liverpool via Sky Go, Man U via TNT  Sports  Ultimate via Firetvstick

To be fair I put the Arsenal on the Sky Sports app for a bit and it wasn't buffering at all but my pexirence of watching Sky Sports+ Super League streams on my Sky Q is a lot of buffering. It may be Sky Q and possibly Sky Stream would be better.

They're stuck in the dark ages not allowing Google Cast or Air Play from their apps whereas Discovery+ with TNT Sports allows this and has on demand for all content too for a decent period post live stream as does Prime for Champions League and PL.
