Sky sports freezes, then catches up repeatedly

Recently switched to sky stream, we have fibre broadband with download speeds of circa 800mb.we are getting issues, particularly on sky sports where the screen freezes for a few seconds, then speeds up. This happens repeatedly making watching football impossible

Ummm no, I never really pay any attention to channel numbers.... It's Sky sports+ though...
