  • Even more frustrating is though you get 4 weeks free trail it dose stop automatically rolls on to monthly rolling contract in which you have to give 31 days notice unless cancelled. As I seen from other post on here  it is impossible to cancel without parting with some money as 4 week is only 28 days,

I got this too.

As for cancelling, the T&Cs do state "Cancel anytime within trial period to avoid future payments"., so as long as you cancel within the 4 weeks nothin else to pay.  I would take the 31 days notice clause to apply if you rollowver into a normal contarct.   In anycase, if there is ambiguity, the interpretation most favourable to the consumer applies.

As the free trial offer is displaying for all customers in the VIP app ( including those that already subscribe to Sky Sports), I'd imagine there is perhaps some criteria as to who the offer applies to ( for example, not current Sky Sports subscribers, and perhaps even previous sports subscribers that haven't subscribed for a particular length of time).

The T&Cs are as follows:

so I suspect Sky have messed up making this visible for customers who are illegible ( which is why the offer wouldn't apply to when you add it to your basket).

Re: Sky sports free trial

Like many others I have been trying to claim the free 4-week trial of Sky Sports advertised on the Sky App as 'Exclusively for you'. When I try to claim it I too am met with a blank page and no way of progressing.

Has anyone found a solution yet??

Re: Sky sports free trial

I phoned up for four days in a row, passed through 6 different depts only to be told that it's for Sky Q customers and I have Sky Stream. I pointed out that this could have been explained to me in my first call and queried why it's appearing on my rewards screen if I'm not eligible. As a 'goodwill' gesture they've given me the 4 week trial!

Re: Sky sports free trial

Many thanks for the informative response to my post. Now have to decide whether to go through the same lengthy process in pursuit of the free trial. Thanks
