Hi all,
Can anyone help me.
I have sky broadband which I pay £19.00 per month for and am happy with.
When I got this I also got a sky puck. I pay £28.00 for this per month! I have never really understood what this does apart from its connected to my tv and without it I can't get a decent picture on normal tv. I do have an Arial coming into the house but I don't think the picture is very good.
If I got a new Arial would I need this puck still as I don't know exactly what I get for £28.00.
Any advice Is appreciated.
Thank you

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Pip12 you don't need an aerial for the puck it simply connects to your Sky Broadband hub and streams the TV service over the internet. It does need a good wifi connection if it doesnt have one the picture will break up and viewing will be bad. With a decent wifi connection you should have access to several dozen TV channels and loads of programmes on demand on your Sky package. The aerial socket on the back of the unit is not used in the UK its used in other countries like Italy but doesnt work here.
