Sky puck with no TV

Hi all, I have a laptop (only, no TV) and got the Sky Ultimate package which I received. I downloaded the Skygo app for my laptop which is working (I have the TV channels, Sky channels etc). However, the remote doesn't work with the Sky puck - can I make it work without a TV? I'd like to have access to Disney+, HBO etc.

Thanks!

@Dee197  Sky Go the app does not support apps, the remote control is useless on the laptiop.

For full functionality the puck needs to be connected to a TV, using an app on a pc doesn't give you access to the puck.

I thought as much, just wanted to make sure. I have channels now to watch on my laptop which I didn't have before so silver linings and all that jazz...

Thanks!

To link the 'free' apps to your Sky subscription the puck must be used at least once.  After that you use the same credentials with downloaded Disney+, HBO Max and Netflix apps on the laptop.

If you're only going to use a laptop then you'd be much better off getting a NOW TV subscription. Particularly if you're not going to activate the Netflix/Disney+ subscriptions. All the same Sky channels are available for a lot less money.
