Re: Sky puck technical faults

Very helpful indeed. Recently bought sky stream, ok for first couple of months now suddenly it has 'technical fault please try later' every other day. It is Rubbish.
About to call and cancel, to find out if they want to hold me to contract or fix service which Sky doesn't seem to be able to provide.

Re: Sky puck technical faults

Unfortunately you have to give them every opportunity to fix it. I went through 3 pucks, a router and a lot of phone calls to finally get out of my contract with no penalty.

Ask to make a complaint about the service, you'll get a standard reply. Request it to be escalated and then tell them you're taking to offcom and trading standards for not providing the service as advertised.

It could get you out of contract faster.

Re: Sky puck technical faults

This is absolute garbage. Somebody told me the puck service was rubbish before I got it but reviews were decent. I should have listened. Constant nonsense like this every single day. Ringing Sky to cancel tomorrow as they aren't keeping their side of the bargain that I'm paying hard earned money for.

Re: Sky puck technical faults

It's August 2026 and this is still happening. I've only just switched to the puck and having 'technical issues' already. Not only mine, I convinced my mother to get a puck also and she's having issues. This is a joke. When I phoned the support line they try to sell me a WiFi booster! Pay more to fix their problem.
