Sky puck for dummies

Can someone explain in very simple terms (brain injury here!) how the ask Luck works? Is it stream only or can programmes be recorded/series linked? My memory is non existent so I felt on my Sky W box to remember for me but won't have the option of a dish if I move.

Sky luck for dummies (second attempt with out spellchecker errors)

Can someone explain in very simple terms (brain injury here!) how the Sky Puck works? Is it stream only or can programmes be recorded/series linked? My memory is non existent so I felt on my Sky Q box to remember for me but won't have the option of a dish if I move.

Re: Sky puck for dummies

It is a stream service both live streams and on demand content. You track your viewing by setting up Playlists and items you have started to watch will drop into Continue watching when they become available.  It is very different to Q. It is not an upgrade from Q but a totally different method of viewing content.

You will need a strong (fibre recommended) Internet connection and a solid WiFi connection from your router if not using Ethernet.

Check on YouTube plenty of videos explaining how stream operates.

It's worth noting that Sky Stream pucks are entirely self-setup, there is no engineer support like there is with Sky Q, so be prepared to troubleshoot your broadband network in order to receive and maintain a stable service. Without both fast and stable broadband Sky Stream simply will not work well.
