Sky puck colour

Purchased Sky Glass, moved my Toshiba TV upstairs with Sky Puck. The TV picture is far too dark. there is nothing on puck menu to alter colour. I can find no way to access the TV menu 

for picture settings.

@MrsCarlac  There will be a setting menu on the TV OS, you'll need to find the remote for the TV to set you picture adjustments, Stream cannot do that.

Is it dark on all channels or just UHD? If it's all channels than unfortunately that's an issue with your tv. Toshiba are made by budget brand Vestel in Turkey, they are low quality TV's with poor panels - this means that the NITs ( Brightness) will be relatively low.

Thank you for picking this up. Sorry, idiot here, what is OS?  
i have the TV remote but it does not function while on the HDM1 port for the puck nor can I get 

It to work on other screens which just say 'no signal'.   I've pressed every button to no avail - trying to sort it for  Rugby World Cup!

@MrsCarlac @Operating software. There are no settings with the sky stream puck to increase brightness. Any brightness increasing will need to be completed though the settings on your Tv

Oh dear, not what I wanted to hear!  TV used to be fine with Sky Q.  If I could only access the TV's menu, but seems impossible while using Puck. Thanks for your input.

There is no real reason why it is darker on stream than Q. Strange one

I,ve fixed it, found the TV Operating System! Thank you everyone for your help, much appreciated.
