Sky puck - activation problem

Help please, I'm a new customer who since receiving (2 1/2 weeks ago) my sky puck can't get past the activation code page on my tv screen. It says it's activated on MySky account. I have been on the phone with sky and my puck has been reset, they've checked my account because I had an old one which they were looking into. I'm waiting for a rep to call me back after raising this issue but wondering if I should just cancel since I'm within the cooling off period. I thought this would be resolved by now and of course to make matters worse I've been billed for my sky stream even though it's not working. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. Thanks
