Sky customer support from abroad

Hi, I'm abroad and need to call Sky Ireland customer support from here to ask for a change on my Sky TV package. 

I cannot get to any way to contact them, I managed to get a UK phone number from abroad but not an Irish one. 
no luck via messages either. 

Is anybody able to help here?

@MarianaGo can you not change the TV packages using the My Sky app?  Sku Ireland only have an 0818 number which doexnt seem accessible from outside the country. Unfortunately the forum escalation team cant upgrade or downgrade packages via chat.

@MarianaGo are you using Sky equipment outside Ireland or just happen to be outside Ireland on holiday or business?

If you call Sky and they identify you are using their equipment outside they are likely to terminate your services

Best to wait until you're home to make changes

I'm outside of Ireland for holiday and realised I forgot to remove a sport package I don't need anymore from my profile. If I wait for when I come back I'll have to pay at least one more month and I would like to avoid it.

You could try the messaging service available via the 'still need help' button at the bottom of the help page here: https://www.sky.com/help/home/your-account/my-account-and-subscription/cancelling/cancel-my-subscrip...

They might be able to help with cancelling just the Sports package.

Have you tried Sky Ireland Website

Make sure you have sky website flag set to Republic of Ireland and not set to UK

When abroad your device web browser might not auto select Sky Ireland website as it will see you not in Ireland

Sky Ireland  Website Login to your My Sky Account with your sky id and password or use email address you used to set up your sky account.

Click contact us

Just pick which Sky service you need help with and follow our help guides.

Click Sky TV

Select which product you have

If you have Sky Stream click that and then click account and billing and then click on account and subscription

Click Change Package

Click add or remove a TV pack

Click manage content packs

Scroll untill you see Sky Sports already yours

Click remove sports

If you want to contact Sky Ireland by phone

Scroll to bottom of sky Ireland website you will see

Please be aware we receive a lot of calls every day, so call wait times will vary during busy periods and opening times will vary by department.

Make sure you on Sky Ireland website to see Ireland Phone Number as in the bottom  of sky website country flag is set to Republic Ireland

As 0818 numbers can't be used outside Ireland 

You can also try using Sky Viritual Assisant on sky website  again make sure you on Sky Ireland Website not UK

I thinking I'm on the right path: got to the Irish chat/message page, just that it looks like it's closed at weekend. I'll try on Monday to get in contact with them and hopefully it will work.
