What type of "Sky box" do you have? You have posted in the Sky Stream forum but Stream hasn't been around for 3 years yet so I assume you have Sky Q?

Do apologise, it's a sky+HD.

In that case you have various options.
If you want to stick with Sky+HD then you'll need to source a replacement box yourself, either on eBay or some other online marketplace. Sky no longer support the +HD hardware but the service is continuing for the foreseeable future so you can simply replace the box yourself, swap over your viewing card and carry on as normal.
Or, if you want to change to Sky Q you'll need to phone Sky. This will involve a new contract, an engineer visit, a new Q box (with different user interface) and a new LNB on your satellite dish. Sky have been offering these upgrades for free to most Sky+ HD customers but you'll need to ring Sky to check you are eligible.
The other option, if you have a fast and stable broadband connection and don't want to record anything any more, is to switch to Sky Stream. This is very different to Sky+HD and Sky Q and does not need a satellite dish, but has fewer channels and more bugs as it's the newer system. Again, you'd need to ring Sky to discuss this. It's the system they're trying to push on all customers now, but there's no obligation to switch to it. Sky Q is still fully supported so if you want to switch to that then you can, and you don't need to be taken in by the Sky Stream sales pitch you'll inevitably get.
