Hi,
We are Sky Q box users and love it. When my mum came to renew her Virgin package we recommended she switch to Sky. When we set it up for her (she's 89) we found it's completely different from the Q box and is a puck/stream only.
Anyone know if it's possible if she can just change it to a Q box because she's now signed up for 18 months on a system she can't use and the TV is lifeline for her.
We even thought about swapping our Q box for her Stream but I don't think we can do that!
Anyone had a similar experience?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@RickH23 There is a 31 day cooling off period. If she is within the 31 day time frame she can call Sky to cancel her Stream contract and if she wanted to she could subscribe to Sky Q.

@RickH23As mentioned use your 31 day cooling off period and then either switch her back to virgin if she knows it or give q a try. Keep in mind with Virgin I think, not 100% though they force you to take 360 now. If she had one of the older platforms like V6 then it is unliklely they would let her go back to that if rejoining. Hence she would need to learn a new system anyway. I have a couple of elderly relatives on Virgin and I have purposely left their set ups alone as they are comfortable using them. Not looking forward to when virign force 360 out to all.
