Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Tommyd1 It's all very frustrating I agree but you have read the other threads so must be aware of the very simple work arounds to get everything back to the correct frame rate. Just do that until the problem is resolved.
Just in case you have not seen this thread have a look as are some workarounds. Posts 18, 43, 44 and 46 being a few 😀

@Fothergill1 it seems to have so far. No weird frame rate issues, all motion looks normal again.
Lip sync is still off though but at least everything looks normal!

@Fothergill1 sound is fine when passthrough is selected. Doesn't sound as rich as Dolby digital plus but I can live with that!

@Tommyd1 I have never figured out why but my Sound settings are stuck on passthrough even though I only use the Glass speakers. The only thing I have plugged into HDMI is my apple TV but can't see which socket I connected it to (not actually sure which one is best for it) 🤷♂️

No. It is still there with QS021 once you go into standby and back out again 😒

@e123312141 it's still there? Hehe switched mine on and off yet. Is yours playing in 60hz still on regular TV?
@Fothergill1 aghh I'm not sure how it works on glass.
Mine is out of sync through the soundbar or through the TV unless it's on passthrough.

Yes. As before, once you go into standby and back out, It's 60hz
I'm really grumpy about this bug
It's really poor quality control on the software release, in what is meant to be a premium product

@e123312141 wrote:I've noticed quite a bad bug in sky stream. Its very odd, because I can't see anyone else complaining about it. But it is quite obvious.
To recreate :
1. Power down sky stream at the plug.
2. Turn on sky sky stream so it boots from cold
3. Select a programme, Sky stream is working correctly with all programmes shown in standart 1080p50 (or 2160p50 if you have the higher resolution set)
4. Put stream into standby
5. Turn on sky stream from standby, it is now in 1080p60. So all programmes are now in in the wrong frame rate and juddering, by trying to play a 50hz programme at 60hz. You can't get it to play at 50hz again unless you reboot the sky stream.
It is so obvious that I find it bizarre nobody else is complaining about it. I've have two sky stream boxes connected to 2 different televisions and they both do it.
How do I report this as a bug?

I've restarted mine a few times and it still seems to be working fine (for now)
Have you got judder reduction for apps on ? Maybe that needs to be on for it to work?

- @e123312141 yet it totally sucks, hope they fix it soon. I don't understand how everyone doesn't have it? Unless they just don't notice it?
@Tommyd1 I haven't seen anything official but 50/60mhz issue appears to be having an effect on Stream pucks but not Glass. This is just my observation from reading the threads but I could be wrong.
