My new Sky remote was operating the volume of my Marantz receiver but not switching off my Samsung TV. I reset the remote and now it will only provide the option for trying to operate my TV, which it says it cannot do as Samsung TV's are not supported. Hence, I have gone backwards, anyone know how I can set the remote to switch on/off my receiver and TV and control my receiver volume?
thanks

If doing a remote repair offers you the 0/0 screen ,not finding your TV or similar.
- Press and hold 7 and 9 together for 3 seconds.
- Press and hold 1 and 3 together for 3 seconds.
- Wait until you see the 'Your remote is now connected' message and select Continue.
Go through the process of finding your TV and selecting your TV manufacturer as Samsung and/or do a find it for me option and if that fails to find anything, do a settings restart straight away (as below) and after the restart has completed go into the settings menu, under Connected devices, select Sky remote and go through the adding Tv process.
This for some has after the restart, reset or woken up the Sky Stream puck and presents the remote TV offerings again.
How to do the settings restart.
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

Re: Sky Stream remote, Samsung receiver and Marantz receiver control
Hi @ScufflingPict I have never had any issues with my Samsung S90C and soundbar so I have just unpaired it and paired it again to see what I can do to help you.
I help the 1 & 3 buttons for 3-4 seconds before releasing them and the remote connected to the puck, I then said yes to allow the remote to control my TV and it gave me 21 options for me to try and it controlled my volume on the 1st option. As my soundbar is connected to the TV via the eARC HDMI (and the TV remote also controls the soundbar) I said no to the Sky remote controlling my speaker system. I then selected continue and it was as simple as that.
If you are not able to control the TV by the initial options on offer then select the option to find your TV, select Samsung and then try the options. I recall from past experience of an old puck that I could not find my TV model but it still gave me options which worked on about the 3rd try.
