Speeds to home 500. Speed to both WiFi connected pucks over 200. Wired puck maximum it could be over Ethernet connection. WiFi checked and optimised. Absolutely no issue with any other channels or on demand. It's only skys entertainment and cinema channels that have the green flash . The explanation that it's WiFi related therefore makes no sense to me. Why therefore is it not more widespread on all the channels and on demand? The only explanation is that it's a fault at skys end with their channels.
From one or both of your Sky Stream pucks
D you have a picture of this Green flash?
We could try passing this on, if it helps.
Plus would be useful to know the channel/programme with date and time you experienced the green flash.

I don't believe you, it's that simple, it's happened to me for years, it happens on my dad's system and there's been many many threads discussing this all over the internet on various forums
There was nothing wrong with my BT internet, nothing wrong with the Virgin fibre and there's nothing wrong with my current Plusnet connection yet on all three connections this issue was there yet no issues whatsoever when love streaming on any other platforms
Like iPlayer or netflix or streaming Twitch all day watching gaming events, never had a single issue with them but Sky issues are guaranteed, I'm so confident there's a issue with Sky that I know it will happen in the football game later on today, I stick my house on it

Just to add, the Leicester match v Spurs, glitched at the Spurs team huddle, sound made a pop for a second, did it again at 10.48 game time and again at 24.32 had a picture glitch later in game but couldn't even be bothered to take note
The Man city U21 game on Sports plus was absolutely atrocious, not the actual game but the garbage stream, random freezing and pops all game
Gave up in the end and spent the evening watching SherWood on iPlayer without a single issue, no sound pops, no freezing, no glitchy picture.

My sky stream was doing this all day yesterday, so much so that it lost signal on all channels and the screen went completely pixelated with tiny multicoloured pixels. I took the aerial plug out and plugged it straight into the tv and it worked perfectly.
I have the stream hardwired to our router. The router config and speeds are consistently higher than the provider (Vodafone)guarantees. I reset the sky box and all returned to normal.
I don't understand why they have an aerial socket if all channels are delivered via the internet. This is the only time it's done this since we took delivery of it.

Sky have supposedly rolled out an update on 20th September. I was told to turn the puk off at the power and allow at least 30 seconds. This enables a reset.
So far it seems 👌 time will tell

Yep tried it and so far so good

I too am getting awful pixelation on Sky stream. It occurs on all live TV channels and on content streamed through the Sky app. But I don't think there's a problem streaming through any other app, eg iPlayer, Iitvx etc. This suggests that it's the Sky streaming servers that are not functioning properly. Sky content is unwatchable. I rebooted the puck, but it's still awful.

Watching FAI cup final on RTE live TV, pixelation every 30 seconds or so. The Sky Stream product is actually awful quality -just another reason for the rise of the dodgy box.

Absolutely agree, I was promised this would remedy after the update was rolled out back in September. No improvement whatsoever. I am sick and tired of this shoddy, unpredictable service and am considering cancelling my contract on the grounds, it's not fit for service. This isn't my Internet provider either as Sky are quick to blame. Like yourself i have no problem streaming stand alone apps. But Apple, Disney etc, streamed through sky have blurry edges on the picture. So frustrating.

Yes I get the green flash, rainbow pixelating. Also poor quality image.

Our sky stream has been pixelatung and freezing just like the others, have mentioned we have done everything checked wires checked connections spoken to my Internet provider and everything is fine. The broadband is working correctly. The sky stream is ethernet. Sky stream works perfectly on the apps just not live. Sky needs to sort this out we are paying for a service and we are not getting what we paying for. I have reset the pucks but that didn't work for long. There's not more left for us to do . Sky sort this out
