@Duster1 It really sounds like you need to put pressure on 4th Utility because if you read through this thread it's quite clear that it's their issue in the end.

thanks.
I have been. They keep saying they need to know what the technical fault information is from sky. I was happy to live with this for a bit while they sorted things but now it's getting silly that 2 big companies can't talk to one another.

Yep, same issue here, how do we know what the technical fault is when it just says 'technical fault' on screen and nothing else. And can't cancel the contract as only been with them a couple of months when it was working alright before. Those who changed their router and got it working, can they possible reply with which router they purchased as I don't want to buy the wrong one as they are not cheap!

Hi @Duster1
I've logged a complaint with 4th Utility, no response yet.
I'm in the same boat in that I am signed up to a 2 year contract.
What is really anoying is that there is no metion of this issue on their service status page and that other isp's have resolved it.
Also, the issue with them using pre-registered IP's, I wish I had read more of the reviews now and spotted some iof these issues befor signing up with them. Never a good sign when their support page just gives you a few FAQ's, the WhatsApp is for new customers only the phone number is just a general number...
I guess I will have to buy a new router to resolve this.

Hi everyone.
so I've been in the same boat since Friday after they installed at my house, not live to with sky glass.
I've spoken to a really helpful chap at 4th utility.
He said that they have identified the problem. It's a security issue to do with ipv4 & IPv6. Not sure what any of that means but he has given me a workaround. A WiFi extender. A cheap one of Amazon.
He explained that the extender can be forced to only use IPv4 instead of ipv6 that the 4th utility router uses. Sky glass doesn't like ipv6 apparently.
I've ordered this one which will arrive tomorrow. So I'll have an update then.
i also have a recording of the conversation if anyone wants the link and is more technically minded than me.

I was having exactly the same problems, I had a new router delivered today from Amazon, now all works perfectly although not something you should have to do!!!!!!!

What router did you get?

tp-link Archer AXE75

So, the WiFi extender works for some channels and not others. It also doesn't work when I'm trying to watch things like White Lotus. So frustrating!!
is it easy enough to just use a new router? What details do you need in order to do so?

It was easy to setup, you grab your PPPoE connection details from the service info section of the 4th utility website. You will need to log in.
I entered them details into the setup screen on the new router and it just worked.
