@davekimbo wrote:Wish I had read all of this first! I have resorted to a factory reset on my puck to try and restore the live tv but now the puck just stalls at the 'downloading updates' page and eventually sends you back to the qr screen where it tells you to check online on how to fix the issue, which just sends you in a loop back to the start! So now I have no live TV or any streaming featues as I cannot get it restarted 😞
Can you connect Stream to your phone's WiFi hotspot? That might help it get through setup and then switch back to your router.
The talk of this being an IP issue is a bit confusing where switching routers seems to fix it. I wonder if their standard router forces a VPN or similar that routes via USA but a normal router wouldn't. I've no idea why they'd do that though, seems like a silly idea.

Apologies, not to confuse the 'No' on my last post was a direct response to Phead1414's question.
The other options suggested may work for others. The phone WiFi option definitely works.

Iv had it working 5 days now it's not blazing fast speeds on the TV but it works. I switched back last night to test the 4th utility router it worked for 20 mins then shut off. Went back to my faster router and worked fine since. There has to be something to do with it he routed via somewhere. Maybe the QOS setting on my router is helping the problem. End of the day it's not really acceptable for 4th utility to be saying they can't do anything at all. They must be using something that is causing the issue .

Same issue I had to do my sky glass through phone it worked I'm also with 4th utility I had issue for two weeks now but I phoned 4th utility yesterday and they said they are closer to sorting it with sky so here's

Just adding a post to say I'm having the exact same issues with 4th Utility broadband and only got through the setup by using my phone hotspot. I'd like to know if Sky are going to refund for all of the days of no TV Service we're all having. Sends a bit rich to pay for this when we're getting at best half a service!

*seems

@Harri7883 from what I've read here, if changing to a different router fixes it, it sounds like it's a problem with 4th Utility's router rather than Sky's issue.

You could contact Sky and ask but i would be surprised if you got a refund as its seems to be an issue related to the ISP rather than Sky, based on the evidence presented in this thread.

Is anybody's sky glass working with 4th utility yet ? Mine still won't over a week now ! I'm paying for a service I don't have I'm not happy 😞

Just had this reply from sky -
"our support teams are aware of the issue . Unfortunately, there are no temporary workarounds, you can try to view content later with live programmes. They have advised that any customers affected will need to contact their Broadband supplier"
"Ive checked with my manager and we wouldnt offer any refunds"
**Edited to remove my name**
Looks like we are not going to get any joy from sky and 4th Utility are saying it's not there problem and they haven't changed anything.

@star6381 yes mine is working if you go back to start you can see that I was also having the exact same issues and tried to sort it with multiple ways. Switching out to a next gen router has sorted the issue for me. But I must state this wasn't cheap and I'm not sure if it's just a fluke that It works and has stayed working. I did swap back to the 4th utility router and it stopped working went back to another router and it's worked since. Feel sorry for customers as far as I'm concerned it worked fine under other ISP and hotspoting from phones so it's not acceptable for 4th Utility to say take it up with sky I personally think they don't have a clue what the answer is so just spouting that as the answer.

Furthermore I have found that also random apps and websites on my phone default to USA and $ clearly showing it's to with this ISP and something they have going on with IPs not to do with Sky
