Rang sky today having no sky stream on glass and puck due to ip address changed to static ip still no luck sky said you need to contact your broadband provider which I've done all week I'm with 4th utility on city fibre they are trying to sort it but been a week of no channels which ain't cheap and then the broadband on top and can't have sky broadband as it not available yet sky so what do I do and yes I've done all the resets.

Could you clarify, do you mean your internet IP is now static or your Sky Stream local network IP is now static?

No I asked 4th utility for a static ip address which has been done but sky glass and sky puck still not streaming channels and I have 1gig internet

Several other recent posts have mentioned that particular ISP.

Ah I understand. I can see there's already a thread around this broad topic that you've contributed to so it's probably best to keep things there.
Perhaps a mod can merge.

I'm having the same issue with my Sky Glass too.
Moved from Sky broadband (40Mg) to 4th Utility (1Gb/900Mg) a month ago and its been flakey ever since.
Initially I would get buffering on sky channels and occasionally the Technical fault message. (On my laptop my connection speed was showing as 300-800Mg!)
All other streaming platforms worked fine, iPlayer, Amazon, Disney and Netflix.
Eventually from last week I was getting the Technical Fault Errors all the time, so I logged a call. After resetting the TV factory default, the TV would not update so they sent me a new one. This one would not accept my PIN, so another reset to factory defaults and connected to my mobile hotspot to update and all worked okay.
I still have the problem with the Sky streaming when connected to my 4th Utility wi-fi or ethernet connection.
Other posts have mentioned issues with the 'Country' location, I have this as well when I try to buy a film in the sky store it says it is only available in the UK and Ireland (i'm in Leicestershire).
Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Contacted 4th Utility support, here is there reply -
Thank you for your call as discussed this issue seems to be specific to the sky stream service and the most likely cause if the information it requires isn't going across this can be due to numerous reasons. With this issue a large amount of customers are experiencing this on Sky Glass and Sky puck products and is affecting multiple other ISP's as well as ourselves.
To find a resolution we need to find out the following:
What the specific error is on their end. All errors have codes and the message that comes up for yourself doesn't explain where the issue is. They should be able to detail this out.
If they can confirm see a connection on their end to our broadband.
If they cannot give you this raise it as a complaint to ensure it goes to the right area of their business.
Not overly helpful, back to Sky then....

They said this exact same thing to me. I rang them and sky just say no they see all that we see technical fault and tried to make me do the reset again as it I has not been tried this 1000x it's just us left as the middle man paying a fortune a service that isn't working. Mine is working currently but only after spending out over£ 170 on a new gen router.
