Sky Stream is ****

From the day I got Sky Stream I regretted it. Sound issues Lip sync, streaming issues. Picture glitches making UHD unwatchable. When will Sky resolve? Many Many threads detailing the issues still no resolution. 
and no it's not my internet 1gb speed connected with Ethernet. It's not a faulty puck I have two and they both do it. And no it's not my other equipment as that works fine with streaming etc.

sort it out Sky. Obviously I'm never resubscribing when I'm out of contract but give me what I'm paying for until then!!!

hae you tried running off WiFi only ? The built in ethernet is only 100mbs

I have one puck on WiFi and one on Ethernet. Both as s*** as each other!

Hi @Anonymous Agreed but hindsight catches us all at some point.

 

@Dave1234567891 Despite still being in contract, there is nothing to stop calling Sky to request being let out of the contract.  I have read of a number of case on the forum where this approach has been successful.  You would need to plead your case but It is still their discretion though.

 

It's worth a try.

I totally agree, I came back to Sky after being away a few years having had Sky Q, these pucks are rubbish. So many picture/sound issues, technical issues, channels just stop working. Totally pointless having UHD for Sky Sports. I have my main box conencted via Ethernet with WI-FI switched off, still get issues and warnings when turning on that Wi-Fi is not conencted, signal dropping etc. Regret getting it. 

Have you tried to contact Sky, its not easy anymore. Compared to my Apple TV box Sky Stream is terrible.

 

Adding to the fact that you get bombarbed with Ads on premuim channels, I will not return or renew again.
