Sky Stream UHD aoujd cutting and picture lagging

Hi there,

I have a Sky Stream box and experiencing constant issues with the UHD channels.

It's a mix of the picture and sound freezing/cutting off with lagging too.

My Internet is BT and its Fibre Optic I done a test a moment ago and getting 40mb download which should be more than enough, I've also connected it via eithernet cable.

All the other 4k streams work fine on BBC Iplayer like Wimbledon and Netflix content is 4k runs perfectly fine

Someone's the UHD channels work fine and then other tines these issues are constant.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Could it possibly be the box itself which may be faulty?

I'm fairly certain it's not the Internet ad other 4k content runs fine both live and stream, it's just Sky Sports.

40Mb is probably marginal for sport?

Do you get 40Mb every time you test?

Live UHD channels use more bandwidth than the UHD streams on Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+ etc which are adaptive. 

Any other device in your home that uses some of your already limited bandwidth at the same time as you watch the live UHD channels will cause the kind of glitches you are experiencing.

Thanks for your replies much appreciated.

I called Sky today and found as I'm running an Ethernet cable I should switch my WiFi setting off as they clash which causes the problems, everything seemed fine from Sky's end apart from that, stream has been working fine since.
