Sky Stream Success from Sky Q

I have been using Sky for 25 years plus and had all version of Sky you can purchase.

Recently I changed from Sky Q and a mini box to Sky Stream with two pucks.

The change over was pain free and the picture of the puck is better than Sky Q mini box which is expected as it is UHD.

With experience of Sky over many years, WIFI is not used, Internet is cable direct to the units over power lines,  I had no problems at all with the process of changing over or picture drop outs . Following the install guide and then alter the settings to give max picture quality, sound and removed any power saving settings first thing to do.

I miss the recording of Sky Q and the all the extra channels but I am getting used to the reduced number of channels.

Sky Stream is different, cheaper and better quality picture and no dish, would I recommend YES.

I moved from Sky Q 3 years ago.  Initially I had the Glass TV as at that time pucks were not available on their own.  I later changed to a stream puck and fully agree that the picture quality from the puck when attached to a decent TV is outstanding.

The streaming platform is not without its faults but it suits me and like you I am perfectly happy with it.  I didn't really miss the recording option of Q as I personally find the playlist far more convenient.

When I had a serious puck issue a few weeks ago the Customer Service team were quick to identify that my puck had failed and immediately sent me a replacement.
