I've just set up Sky Stream and the 'magnifying glass' search functionality (at the bottom of the Home Screen) doesn't work. Whatever I type in it states 'no results check your spelling or try something else'. I've entered shows that I can see via the main menu so it's not that they aren't on Sky. Can anyone help? Thanks

I have just tried a search on my Stream and it worked fine so the problem is most likely at your end and not a widespread issue.
As with most things these days I would try a reboot of your system. SImply unplug your puck at the socket and wait for a minute before switching it on again. I will then take about a minute to reboot.
Not that it will resolve your issue but just so you are aware there is a shortcut to the search function by pressing the remote button with the 3 white dots (just below the power button).
