Sky Stream Puck won’t set up
Hello
Ive just received a new sky stream puck. It's connected to my tv via HDMI and to the power socket on the wall. My WiFi router is plugged into the broadband socket in another room. I've just tried to set up the puck and it can't find my user account so when I skip that part to come back to it it then says 'sorry, because of a technical issue, you're currently experiencing a limited service. Please be assured we're working hard to fix the problem'. I have no service though - just that message on a blue screen. I've tried two hard resets to restart the set up and I've hit the same problem each time. Any recommendations of how I get around this would be much appreciated from a damsel in distress! 🙂

Re: Sky Stream Puck won’t set up
Did you actually at any point complete the setup and successfully complete the activating at sky.com/activate
If not, read this Sky article first and then do exactly as it says from the start.
If you can for the setup, connect an ethernet cable from the puck to the router, it will speed up the setup process, ( you can once setup connect back to a wifi only connection after setup is complete) but as you say your router is in another room it may not be possible for you, so try with a wifi connection.
